In Memorial: Professor Horst Siebert
It is with great sadness that we have received the news of Professor Horst Siebert's death. Professor Siebert died June 2 in the Kantonsspital Münsterlingen in Switzerland. A world-renowned economist and professor, Professor Siebert held the Heinz Nixdorf Chair in European Integration and Economic Policy at the Bologna Center of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. His impressive range of academic, advisory and honourary roles earned him an array of prestigious awards, and made him an invaluable member of the GSI's Advisory Group. His friends at the GSI remember his warmth and gentleness, his intellectual acumen, and generosity. He will be deeply missed.
