The Inter Press Service, also known as the “Development-News Agency”, with over 400 correspondents across more than 150 countries, is the world’s leading news and features agency specialized in covering development issues, civil society and the process of globalization. Joint activities with the IPS include IPS Website on subsidies, which features IPS reporting on subsidy related issues that center on trade, the environment and development. The GSI and IPS also collaborate on a monthly E-newsletter for journalists, providing in-depth analysis by a leading expert in the field on a topical issue related to subsidies.
